TD5Inside - Working on a 300bhp TD5!

Just saw on FB that TD5Inside are working on a 300bhp Td5! By using some new uprated injectors combined with the rest of their magic engineering and mapping.

They are testing 10p, 15p and race heads to see what happens, im very interested! Not that I want to do it to mine haha. From what I understand a TD5 head will start to lift around 200bhp and you need the uprated - £950 - head studs.

If they can pull it off, while keeping a modicom of reliability then im damn impressed. All I can think is if they can pull 300bhp from a 2.5 TD5 what can they squeeze from a 2.8 TD5!

Is this with a standard crank, pistons etc then ?

As far as I can tell yes. Just new injectors, turbo, big ass IC and an enourmous air intake.

Running with either Quaife box, syncro R380 or a box from a nissan. LR TX box.

But £950 for some bolts? Have they not heard of the OM606?

Rolled head bolts yeah they aint cheap.

300bhp on landy running gear. Someone will get good at changing shafts etc lol

the boy racer in me would love their popcorn hard cut limiter, but adrain flux won't allow me to get a remap...

An OM606 conversion is on my wish list.... and all mechanical too - no daft lectrics to give any grief

Like more power, fuel economy, efficiency, yeah those things get on my nerves too
