TD5 Unused Dash Connector

Hi All,
I have an unused blue two wire connector behind the dash on my year 2000 TD5 90
Does anyone know what the connector is for? The wires are orange with green stripe and orange and purple stripe.

No idea. There's a few good leccy fellas on here that also know there way around wiring diagrams. Hopefully, someone will have a look for you. Have asked a few similar question about unused connectors myself. They turn out to be from a different model, or for petrol version or whatever. The same wiring harness seems to be used in a number of vehicles, not all have the same components. Or. You might have something missing. (I haven't even had a drink)

Orange / Green and Orange / Purple are for the immobiliser coil by the ignition switch. I assume if yours are disconnected then your imobiliser has been bypassed.

Many thanks for the replies, looks like my immobiliser has been bypassed. I will investigate further.
