td5 transfer box oil prob

I have oil coming out of the breather pipe when the transfer box warms up on a good journey.Had oil changed as they said some water might of been in it which can cause it to boil.But this hasn't solved the problem so any ideas would be very grateful.

As above...would think its overfill.drain a bit out see what happens ...

If it was me, i would totally drain the transfer box and then fill it with the amount specified in the great book of numbers.

Better to be safe than sorry

should be fine, had it changed at garage when had full allround oil change.

The only persons word i take about oil levels is .....My own !!!

I would still be draining it and filling it myself

I would say that is rather naive, why don't you just check it yourself - then you'll know?
