As title really, seems to splutter at high revs pulling hard in any gear. Runs great otherwise.

Done search but cant find anything with my symptoms

Not had the 110 too long so dont know how long its been like it, but ive swapped filter, ive also done egr removal and still the same.

Could it be tank pump or something more serious?

I realise the pumps are bad on td5's but not sure on normal symptoms.

If anyone can give pointers it would be a great help.

Cheers, Pete.

Had a similar problem with mine and it turned out to be the Mass Air Flow sensor.
Located just off the airfilter box. They seem to have a habit of giving up after a period of time. Most chaps on here will tell you to avoid after market MAF sensors due to poor quality. OE ones cost up to £70 ish hope this helps.

Mackenzie.:)

Good info, never thought of that!

I can try one off another td5 to check.

If anyone has any other options in the mean time I'd love to hear them

Cheers, Pete.

Cheers, I'll try that before I do a swap then, I just assumed it wouldnt run well at all without the MAF?

Wheb you disconnect the MAF it goes to a "base" setting which should help it run better( slightly richer mix)

if it does you have your answer. if cash is short try some carb cleaner sprayed onto the film to clean it. if that still doesnt work then its a new MAF.

dont bother buying the inserts. just a whole new MAF from a good source.

Cheers bud, sounds good for a starting point.

In the past when Ive had MAFs go they have been on low power until revved hard and click back to full power. I have heard of them being reduced power higher revs but never thought that could be the issue. Lets hope it is, as it'll be less money and hassle than the replacement of the tank pump I was expecting.:)

Thanks again, I'll report back but it may be acouple of weeks as its away at the moment having body work done:rolleyes:
