TD5 Sloppy Gearchange

Dear All,

Just noticed that my gear change suddenly seems to have got a little less positive. Still completely driveable but seems to need a bit more care in selecting gear. I noticed this when I struggled to move across from neutral for 1/2 when pulling away. Does this indicate a problem coming my way?

Might be the plastic bush at the bottom of the gear lever.

You might have broke a Bias spring or might need to calibrate the plate



or it could be something completely different!

Thanks chaps. The springs are ok but I will need to remove the tunnel cover to check the other bits. The rubber cover is however coming to bits. Oh well...
