Just been offered £2000 trade-in for my '99 TD5 GS Auto (I know, I love it, but it's got to go...). Probably worth more as it's had lots of work (head, rad, SLABS ecu etc) and it's FSH, MoT'd and taxed - anyone wants to make me a better offer and collect from London send me a pm and I'll give you more details..

if no one will make you a better offer on here the auto trader or ebay will make you more for sure making ok money on ebay at the moment nothing seems to be going less than £3750-£4000

Thanks - I just want to get rid of it fast and hassle-free!

But I'd rather it went to a good home than off to some auction. Just run it back from Italy at a steady 75 and getting over 30mpg!

I suspect I'm mad.

Might have been interested but have to sell my Honda first, what yer getting ?
Gaylander 2. I had one of the very early Freelanders, in exchange for a Disco 300TDi which gave me nothing but trouble. It wasn't up to the off-roading and load carrying I was doing then, but it was a good reliable car, and I'm leading a much more retiring life nowadays - just don't ned the bottom box/ground clearance capability of the Disco.
