Td5 rough running when first started from cold

Back to this problem pump is pumping fine new fuel filter , cam to it this morning cranked fired died then cranked again fired died 3rd time cranked fired ran like a bag of **** made its ggggggrrrrrhhhh noise again revs picked up ran fine presssed the throttle flat as a fart held it then it just bursts in to full responce could it be the fuel pressure regulator

Hi all got round to doing the injector seals nice easy job to about a hour, let it prime for about 10 min fired first click of th key but left it over night and now am back to the original problem not as bad but still **** on starting where to go next
