TD5 rev counter adaptor
Continuation of the tread “rev counter td5” in the “Defender 90 / 110 / 130” section

I have thought of how to make an electronic adaptor to convert the signal from the TD5 ecu to a feed signal to drive a standard 4 cylinder coil driven rev counter. This could be manufactured to sell for about £25 pounds if sufficient people were interested. I would need to make 100 to cover the cost of tooling and development

Hi
i am really keen on getting a rev counter for my td5. I have read all your treads and am interested in buying your adaptor to fit a standard rev counter.
Do you have an adaptor to sell me.

I'm in for one, just a question the adaptor connects between alternator and a rev counter that i get myself, or is the ecu involved at all.
