I know about the issues with oil ingress on the td5 red ecu plug so took it off to check and clean it. It is currently fine but annoyingly the plug seal in the male (non ECU) side of the plug is firstly ripped and secondly reacted with the contact cleaner and is now larger than the plug hole. I am currently running without it which doesn't seam to be causing any issues but I am sure land rover will have put it there for a reason. Does anyone know if you can get replacements for it? I cannot be the first person to have run into this problem with the amount of them you see coated in oil!
