Td5 Rear Suspension

anybody any ideas why my rear air suspension goes down overnight

yes you have an air leak either from air bags pipes or compressor,tiga

Hi sorry run out of time last night and it always takes a while to explain the easy tested method is get a bug spray bottle fill with water and a washing up liquid to make bubbles,lift rear end of car to full height on suspension using the solution spray all round air bags especially around the top metal ring at top were pipe goes in to inflate,then look for bubbles if no bubbles found at air bags then go to compessor at passenger side just 2 fast turn clips to remove cover and spray around pipes in there if it goes down slow then you will be looking for a small leak so be paitent and you will find it,the pipes never normally split well ive never changed them,hope this helps tiga.

thanks again for info i have tried the soapy water still cannot find any leaks my friend recomends that i get an computer cheak to see if any sensors have gone crazy,because when i pump the air bags up full it stays up all night.!!

went and had a computer cheak{£40} all sensors are ok, possible air bag ,i am still looking with the fairy liqued !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

you need to spray right around the top of the ring were its fixed as this area can be overlooked,which side goes down or is it both if its both sides i would say check at compressor end to make sure exhaust valve is not leaking hope this helps,tiga

thanks again ithink i have found the leak at the top of the air bag very slow ,a small bubble of fairy liqued every 15 minutes!!!!!!!!!!! just been quoted £155 for an air bag.
