TD5 rear lights on a 300TDi

Well, as the thread says, I was thinking about upgrading my rear lights on my 300 to the TD5 ones.

I wasn't sure if I just needed to make the holes bigger to fit the lights, but I have now seen some pics from a one already converted that seems to have had a new rear quarter panel fitted to house the new lights....

So, is this the only way to do this?

Does anyone know how easy it is to change/replace this panel - is it a straight swop?

And lastly, does anyone know of a good source to get the rear panels from, that may have already done this before (I have found lots of threads when searching for front conversions, but nothing much for the rears).

If you look at a TD5 you'll notice that they are in a completely different place so you'll need new rear quarters to fit... Bear in mind that on most older cars a prang that damages the rear quarter will normally result in a write off due to the cost of replacing that panel...

I shouldn't bother, it's not the same panel as a 300.
