TD5 Poor Exhilaration

Got prob with with poor exhilaration on my TD5..When I exhilerate it seems to drag,then as I slightly de excelerate it seems to slowly pick up and go like a rocket.. What is the cause..Is it flooding ,or starved of fuel,or getting to much air,or is there a leak somewhere..When it picks up speed its okay but slow to pick up etc..

AH Ha..Just found that I have a small drip leak of Diesel from the bottom of my diesel fuel filter..Would this cause the above problem, I have with the Flat spot on the exeleration on my TD5..

Make your mind up, exhilerate or excelerate, or do you mean accelerate.
