Does anyone know if there is a cover available for the OBD Socket (Diagnostic) in my TD5 Defender? The socket sits between the passenger and driver seats and looks very vulnerable to a muddy boot or similar.
Has anyone come up with a solution in the past? (I have searched but can find nothing.)

I've relocated mine to the front of my cubby box. I used to have a obd cover with in built fuse holder over it but after buying my nanocom I just leave the lead plugged into it all the time.

Most cars have dust covers over the socket so why not just pop down your local scrapyard and get one?

That's what I was wondering. I will start hunting for the dust cover. Thanks Ratty.

Renault clios have em on em cos the obd socket is under the ashtray
Vaxhall corsa's are the same, Vauxhall astras, vectras etc are under the handbrake lever and pocket thing so they have em. Renault scenics and meganes with the sockets around the handbrake lever/centre console tend to have em.

It tends to be the vehicles with the plug actually under the dash that DON'T have the covers.

Plenty to choose from then....:) I'll be down the local yard tomorrow morning!
