TD5 Mats - optional extra's

Just collected these mats in buff colour, a snip at £16.01 off Ebay, they are genuine Landy parts as they came in the bag fro landrover with the part numbers on.

My question is, they come with 4 black clips with rotating heads, the threads look self tapping so do I just screw into the cars carpet?

Forget about the clips,the mats will move under the pressure of your feet and rip the clips out of the carpet. I used to work at a main stealers and we used to get cars coming in where they screwed these clips in thre or four different places and made a right mess of the carpet and this was reflected in trade in value.
