Hi all, long time no post, on my nanocom my MAP sensor is reading 120deg. And im getting a fault code.
2.1 inlet air temperature circuit
4.1 inlet air temperature circuit
6.1 inlet air temperature circuit

I have tried another known working unit and still the same, does anyone have any ideas, as i have blanked off my egr does it matter?

Ta kindly paul

The fault code and the 120*C reading from IAT is deffinitely about that circuit so if you are certain the sensor is OK then it's a wiring issue on that path or ECU fault, make a continuity test between the sensor's plug(green/black wire) and ECU red plug pin 34(also green/black cos it's hardwired)

I know I'm reviving an old post here but mine is reading the same thing 120° altho the pressure side of things is reading OK.
What effect would the incorrect temp reading have on the performance?
Should I be seeing some symptoms?

Thanks
Chris

Cheers

Just replace that failed sensor then you'll see the difference

Yep. I'm going to order one today. Its probably been like that for ages but only just invested in a Nanocom so wasn't aware of it before. I was just wondering if I'm going to get loads more performance that I never knew I was missing. Lol
