TD5 MAF & Misfire

Hello All

Well the disco is in deepest France near Bordeaux, and now it's playing silly buggers. Started with occaional misfire under load, and today........cough, cough, cough, effin dead.

So I know it's most probably the injector loom, and if not that then maybe the MAF or fuel pump or ???

Problem is I a friend has the car in France, I am in Portugal at the moment and I don't want a French stealer thinking "haha let's screw les rostbifs".

So I can buy an injector loom, for £35 on fleabay and get it shipped tommorow. There is also a MAF on fleabay privately with parto No. ESR1057. My Disco is late 2001 model i.e old style lights.

Anyone know if this is the right MAF?

Should I buy it just in case.

If it is not the injector loom, or the MAF, what isa next to check?

Howdy, there are 3 diff manufacturers and the part numbers for air meters are,

Siemens 5WK9607
Hella 8ET009142051
Rover MHK100620.

I got my engine harness and maf from a company called Island 4x4

thanks for that saved me a tenner on the engine harness, and they have the right MAF for £52.
