Hi all, yes I know this is one of the most asked threads, sorry for asking again. I have a 54 td5 fender 110. Recently it started to lose its grunt, gives up going up a hill. Changed MAF sensor, injector harness(slight bit of oil in red plug washed out with contact cleaner), checked wastegate was a bit stiff but moved ok, changed air filter. No diesel in oil. Done 6k miles since last full service. Any suggestions gratefully received as long as legal and not rude!! Thanks.

Do a search on "MAP" sensor now. You havent mentioned it and its quite likely the source of your problem. 10 mins job with a bit of carb cleaner, a 13mm and an 8mm spanner. Good luck.

Sorry this took a while to post update, running around in decreasing circles and about to disappear somewhere nasty! Haven't tried the MAP señor yet but did check the turbo modulator arm again. Was definitely stiff so phoned local landie specialist to check if ok to lube. They suggested spraying with wd40 and working with mole grips. It has definitely had a positive effect, picks up a lot better now. Will also do MAP sensor this weekend and see what that looks like.
