Hi all

Due to lack of road tax and road tax funds i have not used my 2003 disco since christmas. At the weekend i decided to jump start and give her a wash.I am unable to start or unlock the car due to it not taking any notice of either keys despite good batterys in both.I bought a download of ebay to try re program keys but still no joy.

Any idea! jason:mad:

This happened to me once. Absolutely no response to keys. Two hours later I tried the old trick of ten quick pulses on the unlock button, and part way through it worked and unlocked the car. I'm not saying it will work for you, but worth a try. Also, check the little red light comes on on the key fob (assuming it's similar to my 1999 version). If not, or if the lock button works even though unlock doesn't, it's a faulty fob. Have you tried using the code to unlock it manually and disarm the alarm?
