Td5 inter-cooler removal

hi lads, had a quick look there and couldnt really find what i was looking for, im going to go clean out the intercooler and pipes on the defender, i gather its just a case of removing it, putting in a bit of petrol or something, swishing it around, and then pouring it out and letting it dry?? that all right? the thing that i cant find is, what is the best way to get the intercooler out and do i need special tools??

I used brake cleaner in mine let it soak for a hour or so seemed to do the trick

sound for that cwc, did it make much of an improvement?

ok, so its out and ive cleaned it out with petrol, next question, how long will i leave it dry out? or can i just heat the outside of it to evaporate the petrol??

got as far as removving it and cleaning it, then it got too dark to finish it, so its being let like this till the mornin
