TD5 Instrument Pack Gremlins

I'm still getting a problem with my TD5 Instrument Pack.

It goes dead a second after switching on the engine.

Switch the ignition on, all dash dials and lights work, start the engine it all dies...

Engine runs fine all other body functions work, just the instruments die..!

It's not the multiplug at the back, as it's all stripped out and the multiplug is home... every now and then it will work.

Anyone else seen this or know whats going on???

sounds like the dails are being powered by the tempurary live from the ignition and when you start it cuts the power. but saying that nothing has been modified couldn't be that. there must be a bad feed in one of the wires, maybe broke and thats why it gives you intermitant readings or bad earth somewhere
