Any ideas when idling its fine put your foot down and it screeches its not the belts and it sounds like its coming from the right hand side of the engine bay, but it goes once your doing about 40 mph

the turbo reaches full boost pressure at about 2100 revs. does this relate to your screech???

it is advisable to always allow the engine to idle for about 15-20 seconds before switching off... this is to help lubricate the turbo

Thanks ive found the problem its the front 2 exhaust studs snaped causing gasses to pass through the gasket

I have had the same noise and mine was the front exhaust manifold stud snaped and the rear two studs loose so I have replaced the lot to save any more probs so that might sort the poor fuel consumption and poor running at 2500 rpm I hope .

apparently the manifold is too rigid and doesnt flex enough under load, there's a cure that was mentioned on ere the other day involving cutting out most of the webbing between the outlets on the manifold

GOOD GRIEF!
Can you point me at the details of this please?
