Morning,

On my 1999 Td5 90, I accidentally shorted the interior light out last night.... No big deal I though! Anyhow, I have checked fuse 30 under the dash and fuse 7 under the seat and it's still not working!

I currently have no radio, interior lights or hazard lights!

All of these run off the same fuse but I haves checked them all and they are all good. I have checked with a multimeter and I have 12v under the dash at the fuse and nothing at the radio connector? I have also checked the header and it appears in good condition

Any help very much appreciated

Matt

Are they wired through a relay? If so could be that

Apparently not according to rave, they go through two of the mega fuses, to the smaller fuse box, to the fuse box under the dash and then straight to them?

Get yer useless arse under the drivers seat again and check fuses FL1 and FL2 (100 amp and 60amp) as these feed the other fuse boxes and hazard switch.

On mine there's also an inline glass cylinder fuse on one of the live wires behind the radio. I can't remember exactly what it does but the radio is one of the things it controls.

Right, I've checked every single fuse I can find again and I have power every where there should be but still no power at any of the components

if fuse 7 is ok 12V at both sides of the fuse will need to find header 0287 may have damaged the header joint. does the clock and speedo still work?
