First of all my apoligies if this has been asked before. With a bit of reading through this very forum (thank you all btw:eek:) I decided to tackle the airbags on the rear of me discovery. Passenger side straightforward enough, looked like an original bag ffs. On approaching the drivers side I noticed that the bag had been changed sometime in its past, evident by the fact that the screw connector had been removed and the push fit into the airbag. Now here are the questions.

Can I remove said push fit connector or do I have to cut it?

New bag on passenger side seems a very loose fit at the bottom. I presume this is because there is no air in it atm. Or have I messed up.

Should I leave bag in drivers side and sell my remaining new one :D

Thanks

Who on earth ( in there right mind) is gonna buy one airbag second hand? I am sure on the forum there is a" how to" on changing the bags. It sounds like yours is a mess, but all will become clear when you read it.

Never mentioned selling a second hand one my good man:confused:

You had it new, thats first hand, you sell it on, thats second hand.

Its still in the box, unopened. that makes it new. I could send it back to supplier under distance selling regulations if I wished and I bet they sell it on as new. Anyways was looking advice not an argument:rolleyes:

Thankfully I have found out the answer to the question
