Have just replaced the original interior light fittings with bigger after market LEDType. Light inside is much better but strangely the lights now stay on much longer after being activated. Question ? Is this a function of lower current draw somehow effecting the timer in the ECU? Can it be chnaged?

Any experience out there? Thanks

I still don't understand, after the thread on fitting LED rear lights....why would you want to fit LED interior lights?

I guess brighter is good, although you can turn on the standard one while driving for the passenger to read a map, without affecting the driver's vision.
Current draw is no issue unless you want to leave it on all night.

Thanks the responses, it does go out so i will leave as is. I live in Norway, its dark for half the year here so having decent lights to get the dogs and kids in and out the car is really useful. The MUD interior light also has a red light setting which is reallybuseful tonuse while driving. Thanks again.
