TD5 clutch release arm insert

Hi,

Can anyone tell me if it's possible to get the nylon insert / bush at the slave cylinder push rod end of the cast clutch release arm part number 576137? I have found part number 571161 but I think this is for the centre pivot ball.

I don't want to have to buy a whole new release arm just for that if possible!

Get one turned up from brass or do it yourself if you have access to a lathe.

Thanks again Shifty, but sadly I don't have access to a lathe (wish I did!) so I've had to bite the bullet (again) and go for a new one in the interests of time. Fortunately the guys at Gigglepin had one on the shelf which meant I could get the bottom end back in the chassis and return the overdue hired engine hoist.

Interesting to see the pressed metal (brass?) insert is obviously part of the arm assembly. I wondered what had happened to the original insert but in cleaning out the bell housing I found one half it. It had broken in half. I guess I had washed out the other half with all the clutch lining debris that was still in the bell housing from a previous clutch failure (2004 date stamp on the old clutch assembly).
