went to pay and play site last weekend as soon as i got through the gate the brake warning light came on, the light has a ( ! ) in the middle so its not the parking brake. the light flickers on tick over and goes out sometimes when i increase revs. search said something about a brake pressure switch ? i disconnected the left hand wire on the reservoir and the light has gone out, have not tried taking the right one out may be that would also turn warning light off, just remembered that.
Any TD5 gurus any idea
Thanks

Isn't that the same as the handbrake light anyway???

Either way, this is a common fault, usually pointing to a fault on the brake master cylinder reservoir plunger. Try cleaning the plunger and terminals.

You can ofcourse just remove the wires, but they're there for a reason to warn you of a drop in fluid.
