td5 auto problam

hi there im new to this site.
i resently got a td5 discovery auto it was a stolen recoverd vehicle.first it did not start second the sunroof was smashed so it was sat with no cover and the inside was ****ed wet throw.for 6 months
when i got it to garage the chap diagnosed it as a electronic moduel for the alarn an changed it...it started first turn.
now for the bad bit when i selected drive it drove and it parked ok but will not change up from 1st to sec an so on can anyone hel with the prob.
pluss there are to lights flashing green something to do with sport an standed mode i think

x y switch, put your more precise location in and try to get it plugged in to a code reader, a member might be near to you with one,

I was out stripping centre console out to help with drying and noticed it was in low box too as I only drove it hundred yards I didn't notice just that it didn't seem to change up through gear. My post code is bd226qs
