TD4 Won't start

Well Ming, can I ask you summit before I buy the fuel pump.

Why does the car run perfectly once it does start, if the fuel pump is iffy wouldn't this effect the way the car runs? Also does anyone know of anywhere where I can purchase the above fuel pump as it is £250 from e-bay, I suppose it will be cheaper than going to land rover dealer, but every penny counts.

Don't be too hard on ian24895, he was only trying to confuse the issue or help.

Well just a update on the problem, hasn't not started for about 3 weeks now,took it to local Landriver dealer who ran a diagnostic on it and couldn't find a fault not even in the ECU memory.

Before buy a fuel pump I decided that I would add a additive to my fuel to clean out fuel system and improve starting etc and lo and behold it seems to have done the job as I've not had the problem now for a few weeks and the car seems to be running a little better , so fingers crossed and lets hope that it has been a little dirt in my tank, if it goes again I will soon enough let you know.
