td4 will turn over but wont start

Hi There,
My Td4 failed to start this morning, it turns over for about 3 seconds and stops I try again and it turns over for another 3 seconds and stops. If I keep the ignition switch in the start position it turns over a few times then stops ,turns over again then stops .Thil will continue as long as I have the KEY in the start position.
