I hope this finds you well. I have just replaced my solenoid and the connector and wire as this were damaged to the point it would eventually snap itself in half. I have reconnected it all, but now I have a puff of white smoke when I rev the engine. Not sure if this is because it's cold outside. It has just passed its MOT. Do I need to reset the ECU for the new one?
Any help would be greatly appreciated.
