Hi all,

My freelander TD4 model year 2003, SRS warning light come on and has stayed on continually. My boss is a land rover lover, he helps me to diagnose. The fault code is "B1048 passenger belt pretensioner resistance too high".

Please can you someone helps me how to check and fix it. If you all can give me the photos would be great.

I am sorry if my English is not good. I am from Thailand. :)

Thank you.

dunno about the fault code but I've read that a common cause for the srs light to stay on,is a cable connection under the passenger seat to the preload tensioner is open or wet.
Is the carpet wet on the passenger side,if so that would be the heater matrix thingy could be knackered.
Thailand,:scratching_chin:.

I tried to unplug and replug the cable under the passenger seat.
The cable is yellow, is that right? But the SRS stay on. :(
