Firstly hello all. I'm stranded in Italy with a dead motor. Any help appreciated.
I've been having issues with my key fobs. One stopped working sometimes so I tried the second one which didn't work every time either so I've ended up using both. One or the other works with sometimes several attempts.
Today a new problem which I suspect is related. Doors opened fine but when I tried to start nothing... Tried both keys in key slot, when I push start button dash cluster lights up as normal but I hear a click or 2 and no attempt at starting. Got out and locked/unlocked and tried again but same result.
It's sat in the carpark at work now and I'm not sure of my next move! Help please!!

Hi, i tried to start my FL1 today and had the same problem, mine has been fine until tonight, tried new batteries in fob etc opened doors, set and unset alarm etc but would not turn over, turned out to be the wire on the starter motor solenoid had badly corroded. fitted new connector all working now. Hope your lucky

Sounds like flat battery - that's where I'd start

Manual or auto?

Any warning lights or messages?

I'm also with u in that one

happened to me, the battery wouldn't hold charge

also I checked and replaced the main earth lead ,

replaced it with the larger varta battery , best thing I ever did , just about fitted but can't recommend it enough

It's not a flat battery. It started first attempt today and several times during the day. I'm gonna look at the earth cable and the connections on the starter but I had a quick look today and I couldn't see the starter!!! Where is it please?
