Td4 injectors

Any ideas what I can expect to pay for recon or refurbished injector for a td4 02 auto ? Thanks

Hi Acker. Don't know wether it worth me putting my kenneth in but i've just bought four for my mk1 td4 reconned at £150 each.
New your looking at around £600 plus. Saw a firm on Ebay doing them for £59 odd but i thought it was safer buying local in case there was any problem. Hope this may help

Apparently so. Quite what is different, I've not got a clue. They may have a slightly different spray patern or fuel volume throughput. The auto and manual injectors look the same.

Reconditioned injectors seam to vary between £50 an £80 each.

any body got any ideas on a hot oil smell coming in the cab of a 2006 freelander 1 td4 no oil leaks anywhere

Thanks guys much appreciated it looks like i may have to splash out a bit. I've done everything else to try and cure the rough idling ie removed egr and by passed tried different potions in the tank so it's down to these babies I'm afraid. Thank you for your help.

I've got a dead injector on my td4 manual just now. I've taken a punt on one from eBay for 35quid, when it arrives hopefully it'll work. But it'll give me time to get the original cleaned up or sent off for recon whilst still driving
