Freelander 1 Td4 injectors

Hi all.

I am rebuilding the engine and have put the head / cam cover back on but when I tighten the injector clamps to 10nm All The injectors are loose?

I have put new copper washers on but all the injectors move up and down by approx 2-3mm.

Is this right?
 
Hi Adrian.
I know this may sound mad but have you put the injector collars on the right way round as in the pic below ? just a thought.

Hi Arctic2 thanks for the info.

I only had the collars round the wrong way. Could not find any photos on the web so you photos were a great help.
