Hi all, still looking for a reasonable Freelander 2 and have been offered a 2010(60) plate TD4GS Command Shift 4 WD with 155k miles, is this too many?
But what is Command Shift and which engine does a 2010 TD4 GS Have? is it the BMW motor?
If Nodge is online, is your Freelander ready for the road and is it still forsale

Command shift is an auto, same as the Freelander 1. Command shift is basically a manual control of the automatic, should you require it. A Freelander 2 TD4 has a PSA DW12 engine, basically it's a Peugeot engine, coupled to an Asian auto gearbox. GS spec is down the bottom of the spec list, so it doesn't have heated seats, heated front screen, sat nav, leather, and a low specification audio system, but it does have Terrain Response AWD.
Both the engines fitted to the FL2 are capable of doing in excess of 250k miles, with regular oil changes.

My i6 will be up for sale when time allows for me to get it MOT'd. Unfortunately I've been busy with work recently, so have little time for other projects. I'm hoping to get it through the MOT in a couple of weeks.
The I6 is petrol though, not diesel.
