hi to all!, I was just wondering whether anyone else experiences this???, the fuel gauge on my '02 td4, seems pretty accurate up untill it gets to about a quarter of a tank, then if i turn it off(usually after coming back up the motorway), and come back to it either after a few hours or next morning, the needle drops to just above the red line, but after a few months of this happening and gauging what fuels left etc., im starting to think either this is a common fault, the gauge is inaccurate calibration wise, or the sender in the tank is faulty etc.

but does anyone else experience this before i start investigating:confused:

cheers lads

had my 03 td4 from new and the fuel gauge has allways done as you describe dont no if is ok or not but has allways been the same:confused:

Mines the same. Ran mine till the fuel warning light came on the other day, and literally straight away the engine just died with the Engine management light illuminated. Filled from a fuel can, and it was right as rain. Not good.
