Has anyone else had a deisel leak from the plastic fuel-pump/filter housing?
Have had same for around 2 months, got around to dimantling the thing & my thoughts were, probably a pipe leak!
On stripping down (new filter to the ready) the earth-lead tag broke off, totally corroded & when i slid the old filter out of housing i found a small hole and a big bad patch of corrosion in the aluminium filter canister, EXACTLY where the STEEL earth-tag contacted it!
Now even i know that two different metals, when joined, can have conflicting chemical/electrical reactions.
What a disasterous design fault this is!!
