TD4 fault codes

Bought a Freelander 1 2006 with a few issues .......scanning it comes up with fault codes P3515 and P1e00 and P0480......does anyone know what these codes mean ?

You can ask the question as many times as you like. If no one has had the codes, they won't know the answer. As your second request was 30 minutes after the first, you'll hardly get many readers in that time. GG has said the first codes gets no hits on here, so that leaves Google.

It took me 5 seconds on Google to come up with the answer to P3515. It a transmission input or output speed sensor fault.
The P1e00 code is often given if your diagnostic device doesn't understand the code it's read.
Code P0480 is coming up as a cooling fan error.

So what problems are you having with the car?

The only fault I'm aware of is the transmission is in failsafe mode , my scanners only say gearbox fault when I scan the gearbox , nothing more specofic than that sadly

I'd suggest it's not reading the TCM correctly.
It's given you the speed sensor fault however, which is a start.
Your best plan is to make sure the box barrel connections are secure and corrosion free. These are a common cause of box issue's so is the place to start.
