td4 common rail diesel leak

After looking every were for advice even the BMW site no one seems to have had this problem so i took it apart and fitted a cooper washer and looks to have solved the problem the nut is very tight had to use a beak bar to realise it just for reference it has bullet shape under the nut which acts as a seal against the rail 
Just had my fuel rail off to investigate the same really annoying leak , inspected the pipes and the rail , but no sign of splits or rubbing so took the cap off the end of the fuel rail checked it and refitted.
it was not loose .
If this does not work and it still leaks I will replace the fuel rail and injector pipes .
As a matter of interest do you have a chip fitted? ... I have .

Bit late but yes I have a rover ron kit and I fixed the problem on the rail by fitting a new washer in the end stopped the leak pressure is higher with kit and show up any weakness in system
