td4 big problem

Big problem with my TD4 cant move it, big clonk comes from underneath front, doesnt matter if its in gear or not, forward or reverse, will move a few yards before you feel resistance then a clonk and it will clear again for a yard or two,its worst if you turn the wheels. help

Sounds just like when my IRD gave up, clonking as if something is grabbing inside the box as the shaft turns.

Will it damage anything else if I move it ?

you should be able to move it a very short distance at slow speed , wouldnt advise trying to drive it incase it locks up completely, my reapir bill was £1000 for my IRD
