hello

i have a 54 reg td4 50300 miles been serviced, now the problem is when sitting at junc/lights the idle pulses only very slightly, on pulling away car feels like its going to cut out(lack of fuel?) dip clutch and its all fine then and away you go, on normal driving at road speeds sometimes feels like lost power for a split second the revs dont drop at this point.

now this is getting to feel  at junc or roundabouts

any ideas anyone

cheers

Fuel pressure sensor connection clean?

Had similar symptoms with a duff maf. Engine had no response at all to throttle then one cough as though ecu was switching to default value and then it drove normally. When I checked live data for the maf it had virtually no output.

I too would suspect the fuel pressure sensor connection. On my works freelander I cleaned the connection which worked for a while then the problem came back much worse. Changed the plug and its been fine since.

Is the egr still operational? If so clean and disable it.

Have you tried it with the maf disconnected?
