Hi all,
First post on here!
Looking to return to a Freelander (previously had one and have recently sold our Disco 3) and have spotted one locally that might be worth a punt....the inhibitor switch (xyz sensor??) is apparently duff. What is the process for bypassing this to get the Hippo home (this was done by AA to get currently owner to local garage) so I can check out the sensor/connectors/shift cable adjustment etc and then replace the switch if needed? Being auto towing is not an option, even though it is less than 10 miles away & don't really want to pay to transport it if it can be avoided.
Thanks all
