Td4 alternator

Hi guys,

Had to go recover the missus in the td4 last night as the alternator has failed.

Could do with ordering a replacement today but there seems to be a few options and I'm at work so can't check the car!

Does anyone know which alt will fit a 2002 02 td4 with ac but NO heated seats etc??

I think they are 120 amp there is a 150 amp but I think that is for the freelander 2

There is a 150 amp alternator fitted as standard on some models, I changed mine about 2 years ago. Loads on ebay.
It changed to 150 amp for 2002MY when they started fitting the PTC heater.

Td4 2003 has the 150 amp...cost me a small fortune

I now wonder if mine a 2006 hse td4 auto has the 150 amp my old one had a 120 amp

Hi guys, it is fitted with a 150a valeo number yel00007.
Not going to get a chance this weekend as my poor dog is on his last legs but will let you know if I find a good deal or just go for a used eBay unit. Thanks for your help

Forget to mention I will but a good battery on first to make sure as you always should before the mammoth task of removing a td4 alt!
