TD4 2005 DRIVE SHAFTS

just replacing the front drive shafts, along with a lot of other bits, left side gone back a treat, however, the fight side will just not slide into the ird/gearbox try as i might.
any ideas?

More ignorance along with some twisting.

After you triple checked there isn't any obvious difference between old and new that is.

the new and the old, but paddocks say its the right one for the vehicle, even gave chassiss number etc, and still it wont fit after 2 days of twisting banging cursing

You need to check that the bearing support journal (smooth surface below the spline) is the same size as the original joint.
There are also no C clips in the grooves.

It's not an OE joint, so will probably vibrate anyway.

I'd only fit an OE (GKN) joint, as aftermarket replacements vibrate on the Freelander.
