Runs fine below 55mph, but will feel like I've got a parachute behind me when trying to go quicker - just like a speed limiter kicking in. A nightmare if going up hill, or towing, but will then be fine at other times!
I had it checked over by a independent gargae who found no fault with the Turbo, no fault codes when checked, but a split in a vac hose, so changed it. Result = no difference.
Got a mate who brought his diagnostic kit around, and he did find a fault code - P1518 Intake Manifold Air Control system - so asked a LR mech' who recomended changing the MAF sensor. Result = no difference.
Had a fuel lift pump replaced a while ago, but don't believe that would make any difference?
Didn't realise you needed a sense of humour to own a Freelander, but I do now!:doh:
Any ideas before I have to take in to a main stealer?
