tc and abs lights on

hi all
a mate of mine has just bought a y reg 1800 petrol freelander (wished he'd asked me first) driving at 30mph or more there is a rumble and the tc & abs lights come on.Anybody got any suggestions plz as it looks like an expensive fix

maybe not related, do a search on this forum as its probably the brake light switch causing the lights on the dash
