Tapatalk - Yep, again!!

Hiya, is there any chance that you can bring in a chat room for all the off-topic stuff? I use Tapatalk a lot for following the forums I'm on, but since the upgrade to LandyZone, I can no longer access this one on Tapatalk. It is great for zooming through all the chaff to get to the wheat. Having searched on here for Tapatalk to see if others had mentioned it, I found one very recent thread on the subject, but with the exception of maybe 2 or 3 useful posts, even that had been hijacked by general chit-chat. I find that annoying. Moan over.

I can't get Landyzone on Tapatalk either...

Deeply annoying, as it's the way I prefer to access it when at work.

Can you fix it please Landyzone?

As far as I understand the issue is the new format isn't comparable with old versions of tapatalk.

Whether the newest version does or whether they are working on it I've no idea but considering this format automatically adapts to portable devices tapatalk isn't necessary.

Wow... There's not much of a future for you the user interface business.

Viewing via opera mini on an android (galaxy s5) is a proper PITA. Ergo, Tapatalk is necessary by my reckoning.

I'm no expert and haven't ever used tapatalk but view LZ on a S4 all the time.

Maybe @accywingy has a better overview because I know he use to use tapatalk.

And I'm not being arrogant but trying to pass on my limited undestanding of the issue.

I appreciate your help chap, and I'm sure I've benefitted from your landy experience before. I was just pointing out that a phrase like "Tapatalk is not necessary" is really not going to sound anything other than arrogant. Not that you are, I hasten to add, just that the statement was.

Tapatalk is something of a modern global standard when it comes to viewing forums on mobile devices.

I'm afraid Landyzone and Taptalk are not compatible and there are no plans for it to happen. I know a few people are unhappy about this but unfortunately we can't please everybody. I previously used Tapatalk and now just view on my browser with no issues whatsoever.

tapatalk is a crutch and should be nuked... for the user interface business. things should be responsive and adapt to the user's device. so nar

the amount of ads and size of them is annoying on mobile mind

Shame to have taken a retrograde step with the upgrade where this access is concerned.

I suspect it'll become at lot more common as formats respond to the huge increase in mobile device use.
