This forum works bloody well without your once in a blue moon fred which is usually totally inappropraite and not needed.

Isnt that just the problem Optimus, as the lowest common denominator i.e the lingua franca ,speaking just the one language is the most that most people can manage not the leaste(sic).
The English tongue is actually made up of several languages as you are no doubt aware so we start out at an advantage over most so called "pure" tongues, dialects are not impenetrable to us if we persevere. It seems strange to me that we who once held the greatest empire the world has ever seen, should be arrogant now when faced with foriegn speaking terrorists for instance, they can understand every word we say in English, whilst we have no idea of that which they utter. Now if we play the words we know differently (as in dialects or backslang or even rhyming slang a la cockney ) then we win back the advantage straight away.
Most of the comments i've seen on here are FAR from English, so wha th furk are ya pikin on me fur....

am sayin nuffin
