a bit of help please go to open tailgate,window only just drops enough to open door normally it drops a good 3cms.any ideas please.also key in tailgate will not open window now also
 
It's about to fail the first thing to do is get the door card off whilst you can still open the door it will only take you 10mins, then order a new window mechanism. There is a video on YouTube on how to replace it

The cables need changing.

The key is to close the tail door window. Holding down the unlock button on the fob will drop the window. However I'd not do that until the door panel is removed, as the cables could break and leave you in a right pickle.
The key is to put the window back up again. ;)
