Freelander 1 Tailgate window wobble

Morning all,

I've had a search but can't find this problem:



If anyone can advise what needs to be done to fix the wobble that would be great.

Remove door card and have a look. That would be a good start.

Check clamps on the regulator

Cheers, just wondering what to expect in there and if anyone's had similar and can tell me that I'll need a part before I start pulling it apart

They do move a bit, but not that much.

Thanks, was about to head out and have a look when the heavens opened so the better half gave me jobs to do and now the NYE booze has started...

Will have a look tomorrow hangover/weather dependant, hopefully it's just a case of tightening things up.

Four screws at the bottom of the door card, then grab it at the bottom and pull. After you pick yerself up off yer arse it just lifts off.

Not forgetting to unscrew the 2 8mm head bolts each end of the top rubber strip, so it can be removed first!

LOL, I never did that. Maybe that's why I always end up landing on me arse.

Well, removed the door card yesterday then the wife told me that we were going out so door card went straight back on! Appreciate the replies but will have to wait till the weekend now.

In the brief moment that I had it apart it didn't look like the clams were loose, almost as if the slot in the top rubber strip is too wide giving room to move, but thinking about it that might be the pivot point so wouldn't have that effect, doh.

Oh and I just managed to stay upright throughout!
